Security installers covering Chester from Wrexham

SR Security covers Chester from our base in Wrexham. We design, fit and look after CCTV, Ajax alarms and door access for homes and businesses in and around the city, from the first survey through to handover. We do not have a Chester office — every visit runs from Jubilee Manor, Sun Lane, Wrexham LL13 9RW.

If you are looking for security installers, security systems or a local security company for Chester work, we are a Wrexham-based team that surveys on site in Chester and installs the same kit we fit across North Wales and Cheshire. Call 01978 664757 or use the contact page to arrange a survey.

What we install in Chester

The work is the same as on our security installers in Wrexham page:

• CCTV installation in Chester, including Hikvision as a Hikvision authorised installer — Wrexham CCTV page: CCTV installation in Wrexham
• Alarm installation in Chester (intruder / burglar alarms), including Ajax — we are an Ajax authorised installer
• Door access covering Chester from Wrexham (no separate Chester door-access page)

For most new alarm jobs we recommend Ajax when it suits the property — see Ajax alarm installation and Ajax alarm maintenance. Network work, mobile security towers and aerial photography are available where the job needs them.

Camera positions, alarm devices and door readers are planned on the survey in Chester, then fitted and handed over by the same Wrexham team. Houses, flats, rented property, shops, offices and yards all follow that process.

Security systems in Chester

Many Chester homes and businesses want a joined-up security system rather than a single product: cameras for entrances and yards, an intruder alarm for detection and alerts, and door access where staff or tenants need controlled entry. We design those pieces together on the survey so coverage, users and aftercare sit in one plan.

Start with the service you need most, then add the rest if it fits:

• CCTV installation Chester — Hikvision-led cameras and recording
• Alarm installation Chester — burglar / intruder alarms; Ajax as the usual path
• Ajax alarm installation — authorised installer detail for wireless and Fibra
• Door access installations — access control and door entry covering Chester from Wrexham

A commercial example nearby

We do not invent Chester case studies. A recent commercial job from the same team is the Island Green retail park install in Wrexham: CCTV and alarms at Island Green (Hikvision CCTV and Ajax alarms, May 2026). Chester jobs use the same survey-to-handover approach.

How a Chester job runs

1. Survey on site in Chester. We walk the property, talk through how you use it, and agree the kit.
2. Quote. A clear written price. Nothing starts until you are happy.
3. Install. Fitted and tested on site.
4. Handover. App, users, codes and a walk-through.
5. Aftercare. Servicing and call-outs from the same team in Wrexham.

Typical domestic work is done in a day. Larger commercial jobs take longer; we will say so on the survey.

FAQs

Do you have a Chester office?

No. We cover Chester from our Wrexham base. There is no Chester branch and we do not claim otherwise.

Are you a security company that installs systems in Chester?

Yes. SR Security is a security installation company based in Wrexham. We survey and install CCTV, intruder alarms and door access for Chester homes and businesses — we are installers, not a guarding or manned-security firm.

What does a Chester security system usually include?

Often a mix of CCTV, an intruder or burglar alarm (Ajax for most new jobs where it suits), and door access where needed. We agree the combination on the survey rather than selling a fixed package.

Will you survey in Chester?

Yes. The survey is on site in Chester before we quote. We do not quote a proper install off a photo.

What systems do you fit?

CCTV, Ajax alarms and door access. Ajax is what we recommend for most new alarm installs, as an Ajax authorised installer. Wired and other options are covered on the alarm installation in Chester page.

How do I get a quote?

Call 01978 664757 or use the contact page.

Do you have reviews?

Customers leave Google reviews. The review widget on this site shows the live Google set for SR Security — not invented quotes. You can also find SR Security on Google Reviews.
